How We Use Your Information

Platform Operation

We use your data to authenticate your identity, process shipments, generate freight quotes, perform customs clearance, issue invoices, and deliver all core features of the Maalbardaar logistics OS.

Service Improvement

Aggregated and anonymised usage data helps us identify product gaps, optimise routing algorithms, improve our rate engines, and enhance the overall user experience across our platform.

Communications

We may send you transactional emails (booking confirmations, shipment status updates, invoices), security alerts (password changes, login from new devices), and — with your consent — product updates and promotional offers.

Legal & Compliance

We process your data to comply with international trade regulations, customs authorities, anti-money laundering (AML) requirements, and other applicable laws in the jurisdictions where we operate.

share

Information Sharing & Disclosure

Carriers & Logistics Partners

To fulfil your shipments, we share necessary cargo and consignee details with our network of 400+ carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and port agents. Only the minimum required data is shared.

Service Providers

We engage trusted third-party providers for payment processing, cloud infrastructure, analytics, and customer support. These providers are contractually bound to handle your data only as instructed and cannot use it for their own purposes.

Regulatory & Government Authorities

We may disclose data to customs authorities, tax agencies, or law enforcement bodies where required by applicable law, court order, or governmental regulation.

Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the acquiring entity. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We Never Sell Your Data

Maalbardaar does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes under any circumstances.

All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher. Sensitive data at rest, including payment information and identity documents, is encrypted using AES-256.

Access Controls

Access to customer data within Maalbardaar is restricted to authorised personnel on a strict need-to-know basis. We enforce multi-factor authentication and role-based access controls across our internal systems.

Security Audits

We conduct regular vulnerability assessments and third-party penetration tests to identify and remediate security risks. Our infrastructure is hosted on SOC 2-compliant cloud providers.

Breach Notification

In the unlikely event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware, in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.
