CMA CGM’s own local pages for Qatar give a more specific, carrier-confirmed picture than most other lines publish for this market. The Doha office represents CMA CGM alongside its group brands APL and ANL, and describes three direct weekly services calling Qatar: MEGEM, MEDEX and CIMEX. MEDEX connects the Middle East and Indian subcontinent with the West Mediterranean, with a published rotation that includes Hamad alongside Jebel Ali, Karachi, Nhava Sheva and Mundra; CIMEX is described on the carrier’s own site as a direct weekly Far East-to-Qatar service, giving that particular lane a named string rather than only a general trade-lane description. Beyond the three named mainline services, CMA CGM’s Qatar pages also describe four feeder connections linking Hamad Port onward to Mundra, Nhava Sheva, Sohar and Shuwaikh, extending reach to ports the mainline strings do not call directly.

CMA CGM’s Qatar operation is also explicitly framed around two ports rather than one: the carrier’s own local pages describe the Doha office as serving both Hamad Port and Mesaieed (spelled “Messaied” on CMA CGM’s site). As with Maersk’s Qatar coverage, most general container traffic should be expected through Hamad Port, with Mesaieed more closely tied to industrial cargo.

What CMA CGM’s own pages do not specify is which of Hamad Port’s container terminals, CT1 or CT2, its named services actually discharge at. That level of berth-specific detail was not found for any of MEGEM, MEDEX or CIMEX, so it is treated as unconfirmed here rather than assumed from the general port call.

Because CMA CGM’s Doha office also represents APL and ANL, documentation issued under either of those brands for a Qatar-bound shipment should still route through the same local office rather than a separate agency.
